Examination of round color 2D symbol for B2C with display area and secret data area

(in English) We examined 2D symbols for B2C applications. QR code is a matrix-type 2D symbol announced in 1994. Since QR code was developed for B2B applications for the manufacturing industry, it was not initially envisioned for B2C applications such as consumers using smartphones to browse the web. Therefore, it is a black and white monocolor and may not be suitable for the aesthetic. Then, the requirements for B2C applications were examined. We examined a 2D symbol that is round r and has a color aesthetic and is suitable for B2C. In order to make it a round symbol, a sector cell was devised. Although the shape differs depending on the distance from the center, the height, middle circumference arc, and area are all the same, and the aspect ratio is approximately 1 (π / 3).
