A Network Construction Method for Location-based P2P Considering Terminal Mobility and Distance between Terminals

(in English) Recently, global positioning system (GPS) has been equipped with most mobile devices, and location-based services (LBS) have become widely spread. Location-based P2P is a communication method that constructs a P2P network based on the location information of terminal. Geo-location oriented network (G-LocON) has been proposed as a communication infrastructure for the location-based P2P. Since the conventional G-LocON establishes P2P among all the terminals in the area specified by a user, the load on the terminals increases as the number of peripheral terminals increases. This paper proposes a network construction method for location-based P2P considering terminal mobility and the distance between terminals for adaptively selecting terminals to be connected. In addition, we evaluate the proposed method by numerical analysis and simulation to clarify its effectiveness.
