| (in English) | Different from face-to-face exhibitions, visitors to online exhibitions often finish viewing the exhibition pages without sufficient satisfaction. We propose an exhibition method that induces a sense of spatial distance between visitors and other participants using 3D audio and enables visitors to feel the experience as if they got explanation by real exhibitors when they are viewing the exhibition pages. This paper reports an experiment involving 69 participants with the propose method, whose purpose was to verify whether the proposed method could be more beneficial for viewing the exhibition pages with sufficient satisfaction and acceptance than the conventional page that are described by text and images. Furthermore, this paper also reports the results of subjective evaluation of the proposed method by 28 visitors to the actual exhibition. | |
