BRAN Based UE Accommodation Smoothing Methods When Multiple Wireless Standards Are Mixed

(in English) In blockchain-based radio access network sharing (BRAN), users can use various wireless systems without a centralized control station by making connection contracts between a user equipment (UE) and a wireless base station (BS) using blockchain. On the other hand, the utilization efficiency of entire wireless system may decrease and the communication quality provided to UE may be biased because UE will select access BS according to the UE’s own rule. We propose a method of smoothing UE accommodation by controlling the BS’s price based on the blockchain ledger information when there are multiple wireless standard BS. Computer simulation results show that proposed method improves the median downlink throughput by about 2.0 times and the overall BS utilization efficiency by about 1.2 times compared to the conventional method.
