For orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication system, a decision feedback channel estimation (DFCE) method has been proposed which estimates channel impulse responses in the time domain. However, this estimation method has the disadvantage of requiring a large amount of calculation for channel estimation. In this paper, we propose three DFCE methods that classify the channel impulse responses into two groups and estimate them in the time domain.
In terms of bit error rate performance and the amount of calculations required, computer simulations show that one of the proposed methods can obtain better estimation accuracy with fewer amount of calculation than the conventional method. |
