[Poster Presentation] Consideration of distance propagation characteristics in 220 MHz and 920 MHz band outdoor communication experiments

(in English) We will study a model of outdoor radio propagation characteristics in the wide-area VHF band that can be used in a quasi-narrow-band communication system for disaster response (DR-IoT). Based on the measurement results of outdoor propagation characteristics in the vicinity of the Ikuta Campus of Meiji University, The outdoor propagation characteristics in urban areas can be approximated approximately by the Okumura-Hata model (Suburban), and when there are many obstructions such as houses and buildings in the surrounding area or mountainous terrain in the propagation path, it is expected that the Okumura-Hata model (Urban) can be approximated approximately. In addition, the prediction of areal propagation characteristics from topographic cross sections using ITM (Longley-Rice) will be discussed.
