A new method for the system of nonlinear equations -- Newton-Raphson method and W4 method --

(in English) There is no successful single method that can solve any system of nonlinear equations so far. Although the Newton-Raphson (NR) method is one of the promising iterative methods, it requires a fine-tuning initial-guess that is close to the solution.
Recently, we proposed a new method, the W4 method, which is inspired by the equation of motion of damped oscillators, keeps the local convergence as the NR method does and improves the global convergence.
In this article, we compare the results by the W4 method with those by the NR method and its extension in the literature.
