A study of arrangement pattern selection method for directivity generation in speaker array Mio Shibata, Manabu Okamoto (Sojo Univ.) EA2022-37 |

We are studying a speaker system that can generate strong unidirectionality by using the principle of boundary surface control principle using four speakers and multiple control points. In the case where the boundary surface control principle is performed with a small number of control points, the arrangement pattern of the speaker and the control point has a great influence on the directivity generation. However, there is no good placement pattern for directivity generation or an index for evaluating the strength of directivity, so it is not easy to select a good placement pattern. Therefore, we devised an objective index to easily discriminate the arrangement pattern. In addition, the results selected by the index were measured using an actual speaker, and it was confirmed that the results were almost the same as the simulation results at 500 Hz to 2 kHz. |
