A Performance Study on HTTP/3 and Network and Computing Conditions

(in English) HTTP is a widely used protocol. HTTP/3 was documented in June 2022 and increasing its importance. HTTP/3 has some important proposals such as using UDP instead of TCP. However, its performance has not been discussed enough. In this paper, we investigate the relationship between network and computing conditions and HTTP performance. We then show that not only the network conditions but also the CPU processing power also has a large effect on the performance.
