(in English) “Med-Tech Link” was established within Chiba University Hospital in 2018 as a medical-engineering collaboration base with core members of the Center for Frontier Medical Engineering, Chiba University. The staffs who had devoted themselves to medical engineering research for years have started to get around the hospital to picked up unmet medical needs from a wide range of medical staffs, proposed various collaborative research projects, such as hospital tours for companies, entrepreneurship seminars for medical staff, launch of consultation desks, needs/seeds-matching programs, seminars for manufacturing companies, etc., and implemented them. Our efforts and achievements in this collaboration base so far, as well as future prospects are shown in this article.
