Readability of Smart Communication Display with Flash Display

(in English) The Corona Disaster forces society to wear masks, which creates a challenge in oral communication. Efforts are being made to solve this problem by recognizing speech information and displaying text strings on a display. However, the limited display area limits the number of characters that can be displayed, and sliding text is time-consuming for communication. Therefore, in this study, we employ an information presentation method using a flash display, which can display more textual information, and attempt to optimize the flash display time for efficient communication of textual information. In this presentation, we will explain the verification method and its experimental system that compares the flash and slide display methods.
