Online classes are rapidly becoming popular in recent educational institutions as a countermeasure against infection caused by the Corona disaster. However, students who learn to operate laboratory equipment are not able to touch the actual equipment, making it difficult for them to achieve the objectives of the classes. Our research group aimed to conduct student experiments virtually by using a mixed reality application. First, we are developing an application of the Wheatstone Bridge electrical resistance measuring instrument, which is difficult to operate, in order to verify its utility. In this presentation, we report the results of the practical use of the application, which includes a tutorial to guide students how to operate the virtual object of the measuring instrument and a function to present learning tasks within the application. |
