[Poster Presentation] Frequency Adjustment Technique for Human-Body Localization in Bidirectional SIMO Radar

(in English) A performance of the human-body localization using a bidirectional continuous-wave (CW)-Single-Input Multiple-Output (SIMO) radar has been studied, where commercial off-the-shelf ( COTS) devices are used to realize the low-cost radar system. The bidirectional CW-SIMO radar utilizes the partial channel information and combines the roundtrip channels. We also proposed the frequency error elimination technique in such a roundtrip channel between two stations to localize the target. In this paper, we numerically and experimentally investigated the performance of human-body localization using such a bidirectional SIMO radar. The target location can be estimated by the 2-dimensional MUltiple SIgnal Classification (MUSIC) method. A single target was localized in an indoor multipath-rich environment with various frequency errors. The results confirmed that our proposed method could successfully localize the target position with high accuracy.
