[Poster Presentation] Study on ISAR imaging of moving targets at short range using cross-correlation method
Ryosuke Sato, Hiroyoshi Yamada (Niigata Univ.) AP2022-129
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, research has been conducted on security radar that uses millimeter-wave radar imaging to detect concealed suspicious objects in order to prevent terrorism and crime. Existing security radars often use large aperture arrays and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). However, SAR requires time to acquire data, making it difficult to image moving targets, and it is difficult to apply in facilities where many people move around. Therefore, we propose an imaging method for moving people using Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR). In this paper, we propose a two-dimensional imaging of a person on a cart by ISAR processing using cross-correlation method, and investigate imaging of a moving target at a short range.
