Basic Study for Time-Spatial Propagation Modeling near Human Body in 300 GHz Band

(in English) In Beyond 5G, application of radio over terahertz technology, which relays millimeter wave communications in the terahertz band, is expected. In order to maintain stable and high-quality communications in this technology, it is desirable to realize a terahertz band wireless link with a MIMO system. In this report, basic studies for time-spatial propagation modeling between a user terminal and a relay device such as a wearable terminal using the 300 GHz band as the terahertz band are described. As a study of a macro perspective, a study on evaluation of scatterers which generate effective paths in a communication environment near the human body, and as studies of a micro perspective, studies of the spread angle of scattered waves from a single scatterer, and the amplitudes and phases of scattered elementary waves are reported.
