Today, renewable energy resources are a critical component of distributed energy systems. However, their intermittent nature makes them unstable energy sources, which is very difficult to utilize optimally. Battery storage is a viable solution for this issue. In this paper, we consider the distributed power flow system consisting of distributed power generators, numerous loads, energy storage systems (ESS), and different combinations of connections between them. The paper proposed power flow assignment (PFA) algorithms to deal with the single load and multiple loads to address the possibility of reducing energy loss and improving the design of the distributed energy systems with the presence of ESS in the smart home environment. The simulation results reveal that the increment of logical power connections among power devices can significantly reduce energy loss. |
