Development and Evaluation of Landslide Disaster-related Information TV Notification System Cooperated with Smartphone

(in English) In order to prevent human casualties, it is necessary to have a system that can transfer decisive information for evacuation.
To mitigate human casualties from landslides, we have developed a power-independent landslide monitoring system that captures images of hazardous areas.We have also developed a landslide disaster-related information TV notification system cooperated with smartphone, which displays evacuation information and images of landslide hazard areas on a TV monitor based on disaster prevention information e-mailed from local governments.In this study, we evaluated the validity of our developed system and the smartphone application operability.In the evaluation of the operability of the smartphone application, we prepared operation systems with different button layouts and button colors, and measured the time required to select an arbitrary location.The time required to select a location with a high level of danger was shortened by changing the color of the buttons according to the alert level.In the questionnaire, many respondents felt that the system was effective for early evacuation.
