Automatic Extraction of Time-Series Information to Support Reading of Judicial Precedents of Suits for Infringement of Patens

(in English) In recently, the information and communication technology has been developed toward globalization and the realization of Society 5.0. Accordingly, it has increased that the importance of intellectual property education. However, this education is not sufficiently provided in faculty of engineering. Therefore, we focus that reading judicial precedents is important in legal studies and consider the development of a reading support system of judicial precedents for engineering department students. In this paper, for developing a reading support system of judicial precedents, we automatically extract time-series information related to people’s action: "who," "when," and "what" from judicial precedents. Finally, it is indicated that the fishbone diagram created from extracted results can let readers to understand the flow of events by diagrams.
