Optimizer based on Spiking Neural-oscillator Networks (OSNNs) are deterministic swarm intelligence algorithms which introduce dynamics of spiking neural-oscillator networks into PSO. In OSNNs, a single particle consists of plural spiking oscillators which connect to each other by network topology. Since the spiking oscillators interact with each other, the spiking oscillators can take synchronous or asynchronous dynamics that affects search performances of OSNNs. Herein, we focused on good parameter settings which lead to good search performances in solving various benchmark functions and investigated trajectories of spiking oscillator networks using a simple network topology. From the results, we further discussed the relationship between such parameter settings and landscapes of objective function to be solved. |
