Design of Network-layer Anonymity Protocols using a Programmable Switch

(in English) In this paper, we present the design of an anonymity router that forwards both anonymous packets and IP packets at terabit speed by utilizing a programmable switch.
The main challenge is to make computation-intensive tasks of applying cryptographic operations on anonymous packets and memory-intensive tasks for IP forwarding coexist in packet processing pipelines of switch ASIC while meeting hardware constraints.
We implement an anonymity router that operates at terabit speed on the actual switch by solving design issues in the selection of cryptosystem, the data structure of path information, and keeping and retrieving a big forwarding table.
