On various periodic orbits in coupled digital spike maps

(in English) A digital spike map (Dmap) is digital dynamical system defined on a set of points. Depending on parameters, the Dmap can generate various periodic spike-trains. The Dmap is suitable for precise numerical analysis and FPGA based hardware implementation. This paper studies basic dynamics of coupled system of the Dmaps. In order to analyze the dynamics, we define two feature quantities. The first quantity evaluates complexity of the periodic spike-trains. The second quantity evaluates stability of the periodic spike-trains. Using the quantities, we investigate various periodic spike-trains in typical coupled systems.
