| (in English) | A well-balanced diet is important for the prevention of lifestyle-related diseases. Nowadays, various recipes, food intake standards, nutrient composition tables, and so on for each ingredient are available on the Internet. And, it is possible for individuals to manage their own nutritional intake. However, it has been pointed out that the labor-intensive of managing such data is an obstacle to healthy eating habits. In this study, we propose a nutritional intake management system that automatically calculates nutritional intake based on the recipes and the actual meal results, and warns or suggests additional menus when nutritional intake is unbalanced. Furthermore, through experiments, we show that the system is effective in assisting people to enjoy a variety of meals and maintain a well-balanced diet. | |
