The Vehicle-to-Vehicle Communication and Ranging System using spread spectrum (SS), which enables simultaneous communication and ranging, is the Visible Light Boomerang System that uses LEDs and optical sensors. This paper aims to realize a VLC boomerang system that uses an image sensor as the receiver, and examines an extraction method using image processing of the transmitting blinking area that is necessary for this purpose. In the proposed method, the tail lamp position is roughly separated from the bounding box on the vehicle body, and the blinking area is searched. |
