An observation of artificial buried items is conducted with the ALOS-2 L-band spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (PALSAR-2). A semicylinder pipe-like scatter with 2-m diameter and two square trihedral corner reflectors with 1.2-m dimension are buried in the sand, and clear echo from the pipe-like scatter is found in the radar image. In the paper, initial result of the experiment is presented. |
