(in English) Water distribution in the electrolyte membrane inside the polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) has a great influence not only on the ionic conductivity but also on the membrane durability. Broad-band coherent anti-Stokes Raman spectroscopy (CARS) was used to investigate different water molecules and their distribution inside a 20-m thick Nafion® electrolyte membrane in a running PEFC.
