Analysis of Load Sharing Characteristics on Plug-and-Play DC Distribution System Across Multi Level Virtual Conductor

(in English) This paper confirms the effect on load sharing characteristics when multiple independent distributed power supplies with droop control on different DC buses were interconnected using Multi level Virtual Conductor(MLVC). MLVC is a Plug-and-Play DC power grid interconnection system that supports free placement of components without communication. This system may overcome the limitations of the power supply configuration in the conventional Plug-and-Play method without communication, and it is expected to enhance the design flexibility and reduce the implementation cost of the DC distribution system. Analysis results showed that cooperative load sharing between power supplies on different buses across the MLVC is possible. Also, the validity of the analysis was confirmed by circuit simulation.
