An oscillator-based true random number generator using superconducting single flux quantum circuits and Josephson oscillation has been developed. In this paper, an introduction of a fluctuation mechanism of the oscillation frequency is discussed to increase the generation rate of random numbers. The generations of flux quantum pulses using Josephson transmission line with a resistive relaxation loop and a generator consisting of three Josephson junction with each difference critical current are numerically investigated. As a result, this generator can increase variations of pulse periods without large decrease of the oscillation frequency. Numerical investigations of a random number generator using this pulse generator are also reported. |
