In Beyond 5G/ 6G era, a three-dimensional seamless network integrating terrestrial and non-terrestrial network is expected. In addition to realization of realizes an area-wide connectivity with minimum terrestrial network infrastructure by High Altitude Platform Station (HAPS), HAPS can secure redundant routes over the sky in disaster communication. In this paper, as one of the research and development, the research result of 38 GHz band ground station for HAPS composed of a mechanical gimbal and a lens antenna with array feeder is shown. |
