Detection of UI parts from web page images utilizing a small amount of data

(in English) The purpose of our research is to devise a method for detecting UI parts in a Web screen. The proposed method consists of a region segmentation process that detects the candidates of UI part from Web screens and a classification process that classifies the candidates into classes. In particular, we devise a detection method using only a small amount of data in order to improve the task of collecting a large number of training data. In the region segmentation process, the candidates of UI parts are extracted by grouping the results of User Interface Element Detection (UIED). In the classification process, image features, text features, and position features are extracted from the candidates of UI parts, and one-shot learning is used to classify UI parts into classes. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated by collecting UI part screens on an OSS web system.
