[Poster Presentation] A Video Data Hiding Scheme Utilizing Characteristics of Consecutive Frames

(in English) A video data hiding scheme has been proposed by repeating the same frames to embed secret data according to the observation that the consecutive frames of the video signals are similar. It is pointed out that stego video signals obtained by the previous method impart a large sense of incongruity to the viewer since the same frames are repeated for a long time to embed the run of the same bits. The aim of this study is to reduce such sense of incongruity by employing a block of multiple frames and embedding secret data with the combination of the successive frames in such a block. The experimental results show that the embedded data can be successfully extracted regardless of the cover video signals in addition to reducing the sense of incongruity of the stego video signals. It is also shown that, however, it is easy for the test subjects to spot the difference of the video quality if they compare the stego video signals with the cover video signals.
