Designing Lightweight Anonymity Protocol for Host- and AS-Level Relationship Anonymity

(in English) Lightweight anonymity protocols achieve high-performance anonymity communication compared to Onion Routing, which repeatedly performs hop-by-hop encryption on the whole packets on overlay networks. They are implemented in routers on the network layer and perform encryption only on packet headers to enable low-latency and high-performance anonymous communication. However, the existing protocols are vulnerable to attacks in which malicious nodes collude with each other and that leverage topological information and routing policy of the underlying IP network. In this paper, we design a new protocol that balances forwarding performance and robust anonymity and analyze the anonymity it provides.
