System to Prevent Distribution of Art Forgeries Using IOTA

(in English) The global art market is a large industry, worth $65 billion annually. However, art forgeries are frequently circulated. To stop the circulation of art forgeries, it is not enough to detect the authenticity of works. It is important to guarantee traceability using a secure data storage infrastructure and IoT sensors. In recent years, blockchain has attracted attention as a storage infrastructure. However, blockchain is essentially a technology that guarantees absolute safety in finance, and is not suitable for use in the IoT, which is streaming data. IOTA is a technology proposed to solve this issue. This paper proposes an art transaction system that combines efficiency and security by utilizing IOTA. In addition, a simple simulation was conducted.
