(in English) In the 2030s, when Beyond 5G/6G is expected to be realized, a cyber-physical system (CPS) that integrates physical and cyber-space will be realized, and the transition to a data-driven society that makes maximum use of data is expected to progress. The Beyond 5G wireless systems that will realize these goals are required to provide high communication performance that adapts to the communication environment surrounding the user and to individual communication requirements at any location where the user exists, and it is important to be able to transmit huge amounts of data not only in the downlink but also in the uplink. We are conducting research and development of three elemental technologies to realize a user-centered “user-centric architecture” that resolves these issues. These technologies are composed of (1) cell-free massive MIMO (CF-mMIMO) that eliminates throughput degradation due to conventional interference between cells, (2) user-centric radio RAN based on virtualized radio access networks (RANs), and (3) new virtualized terminals utilizing the terahertz band (THz) for high-capacity communications. In this paper, we introduce the virtualized terminal technology utilizing the terahertz band to realize high-capacity communications in the Beyond 5G/6G era
