| (in English) | The cloud environment is expected to be an ideal environment for scientific and technological computing workflows that are computationally demanding. On the other hand, it requires a great deal of knowledge and experience to select the appropriate resource from among the many resources available in the commercial cloud computing environment. Therefore, users must select resources through a trial-and-error process. Therefore, a resource selection method that does not require knowledge or experience is required. In this study, we evaluate the performance of resources (instances) using Amazon EC2, a virtual server service provided by the cloud computing service AWS (Amazon Web Services), by comparing CPU processing power, memory bandwidth, I/O (input/output) and cost. The purpose of this study is to select appropriate instances to execute scientific and technical computing workflows by comparing CPU processing power, memory bandwidth, I/O (input/output), and cost. | |
