Examination of directivity control method and operation frequency for wireless power transmission in indoor manned environment

(in English) In recent years, beam wireless power transmission(WPT) systems supply energy for targets located on separate places have been gathering attention. For practical realization of WPT, the use of an array antenna directivity control such as retrodirective, linearly constrained retrodirective etc. is well known to be one of the most effective means to achieve both of
efficiency and human safety in indoor manned environment. On the other hand, there are several choices of an operation frequency, for example, 2.4GHz and 5.7GHz. WPT systems at each operation frequencies are supposed to show different efficiency and human exposure level because of frequency dependent propagation property. For this reason, not only a choice of directivity control methods but also of a choice of an operation frequency is also an important factor. In this study, directivity control methods are evaluated at several frequencies in terms of efficiency and human safety, which contributes to a better choice of an operation frequency.
