Performance Analysis for Wireless Power Communication Networks Considering Energy-Request Communication

(in English) Wireless Power Charging and Communication Network (WPCN) is a network integrating Wireless Information Transmission (WIT) and Wireless Energy Transmission (WET).
An analysis based on the energy queuing model has been proposed as an effective performance analysis method for WPCN.
However, the conventional energy queuing model cannot be directly applied to the analysis of systems with mixed communication and power supply with different power consumption and recovery.
This paper proposes a performance analysis in WPCN that takes into account the power consumption of energy-request communication by extending the energy queuing model.
In this analysis, two types of power supply operations and power consumption due to failed power supply request frames are considered in a single energy queuing model: power recovery by power supply request frames in addition to power recovery by power supply request signals sent when the battery is depleted.
Comparison with the results of computer simulations demonstrates the validity of the proposed analysis method and provides insight into the network collision rate and its impact on the system's power supply performance and terminal depletion probability.
