| (in English) | This paper describes the results of a study on a Line-of-Sight (LOS) probability estimation formula in an urban environment. As a preliminary study, we developed a LOS estimation formula that adapts to changes of road width and building length of a uniform grid pattern city. The basic part of the formula is constructed based on the theory of the d1・d2 model, which is standardized for the 5G development. In addition, the spread of LOS probability in intersection areas is represented by an empirical formula and added to the basic formula. As the result, we obtain an overall LOS probability estimation formula that is adaptable to changes of the two parameters. | |
