Comparison of material impression which induce by light distribution on mixed reality environment

(in English) Mixed reality environment always produced characteristic field of view which contain real objects and virtual objects coexist. Recently, progress of image processing and arithmetic processing become reproduce reality impression in virtual object represent with BRDF texture. However, virtual object often makes that feel a sense of incongruity due to the difference in texture when placed side by side with the real object. In this paper, authors conducted an impression evaluation experiment to clarify the characteristics of texture perception in a mixed reality environment. Stimuli were reproduced by texture measurement for come to close real and virtual as much as possible. Result shows, apparent brightness makes different impression between the real and the virtual object. It is thought that reproduce apparent brightness influence from light distribution is one of key factor of reality impression on material appearance in mixed reality environment.
