In OpenFlow, the controller is responsible for processing packets that cannot be handled by the data plane switch alone. To scale up the network, it is necessary to deploy multiple controllers. In this case, the controller in charge of each switch must be well-selected to balance the controller load, i.e., the migration should be conducted. This paper proposes a migration method for selecting a master controller for switches by considering both load balancing and transmission delay. |
