The impedance balancing method has been investigated as a method for reducing common mode voltage in three-phase inverter circuits. The impedance balancing method reduces the common mode voltage by inserting a regulating element between the two conductor lines supplying the power supply and the ground respectively. In this report, the value of the regulator that reduces the common-mode voltage most in a three-phase inverter circuit was evaluated using circuit simulation and actual equipment, depending on the difference in the ratio of the inductance of the two conductor wires leading to the DC power supply. The results show that, at some frequencies, the common mode voltage is best reduced when the ratio of the inductance of the two conductor wires, taking into account their mutual inductance, matches the ratio of the tuning elements. |
