[Invited Lecture] Optimal Modulation Selection and Inter-Lighting Interference Reduction for LED Visible Light Wireless Communications by Spatially Parallel Signal Transmission

(in English) This paper evaluates spectral efficiency improvement with both an optimal modulation selection method in which the most efficient modulation scheme is adaptively selected for each photodetector according to transmission channel states and an inter-lighting interference reduction method in LED visible light wireless communications by spatially parallel signal transmission. The evaluation results show that an optimal modulation selection method can increase spectral efficiency by 1.8 times compared to that with only one modulation scheme. Furthermore, the results show that the inter-lighting interference reduction method can increase spectral efficiency by 1.4 times.
