A Study on Importance of a Facial Image during Conversation Based on Gaze Analysis

(in English) Gaze helps communications between humans by controlling utterance. From a long time ago, several researches
tackles analysis of eye gaze patterns that are observed by static stimulation such as watching a photo, a symbol, and a movie.
However, eye gaze patterns caused by dynamic stimulation such as interactive communications via telecommunication systems
that have been rapidly become popular under COVID-19 disaster. This article investigates importance of facial images during
communications on the basis of eye gaze patterns captured in real-time when a random noise image and a facial image were
randomly changed each other with moderate presentation time. Experimental results with five testers showed that a facial
image have be capable of collecting lines of sight.
