The efficiency characteristic of magnetic coupled wireless power transfer in which a pair of transmission / reception coils is known as the kQ product theory. If the resonance conditions are satisfied between the secondary coil self-inductance and the capacitor on the secondary side, the maximum efficiency that can be taken is determined by the kQ product. Since Q is a fixed value, the maximum efficiency is determined by the size of k. On the other hand, such a theory is not found regarding the efficiency distribution characteristics at the power receiving coil position placed at an arbitrary position on the transmission coil array. In power transmission coil array power feeding using relay resonant coils that become multiplex multiple magnetic coupling, a unique efficiency distribution is known. Author searched for a substitute characteristic representing the efficiency distribution in multiple magnetic coupling power transfer, and found the efficiency equivalent coupling coefficient kη from the secondary-side conversion equivalent circuit. |
