This paper proposes a fixed filter ANC system for noise source movement in 2D space.
The proposed system is robust to noise source movement by using multiple microphones for noise source localization.
As the optimum noise control filter differs depending on the location of the noise source, several noise control filters are created in advance for the locations where the noise is expected to move, and the noise source location is identified using a noise source localization method during ANC system operation, and the optimum noise control filter is selected according to that location.
Simulations using actual impulse responses show that a noise reduction of approximately 20 dB can be achieved even when the noise source moves. |
