The theme of the 4th radio wave propagation modeling competition is the achieving simplification of the calculation amount of multiple-screen-diffraction for urban propagation. The method using Kirchhoff approximation is proposed. In this method, a wave source plane and an observation plane are displaced to the same sphere as a spherical wave, and a screen plate is displaced to the curved surface which touches an observation plane. Since the electrical field of the transverse direction of an observation plane becomes the same by this replacement, the calculation amount of an electrical field is reduced to 1/100, and a practical machine time is attained. Moreover, the method using a fresnel approximation and the method of a Fourier transformation of two function are also reported. |
