(in English) We are studying 21-GHz band satellite broadcasting systems to build next-generation broadcasting media. To counter a problem of the increase in rain attenuation in 21-GHz band satellite broadcasting, we are researching on-board array antennas which can increase transmission power and control radiation patterns adaptively in accordance with rain attenuation situations. In this paper, in order to use dual circular polarization, we designed an on-board array-fed shaped reflector antenna by using conical horn antennas with sequential rotations for 21-GHz band broadcasting satellite to cover all over Japan.
