Unidirectional Antenna Composed of Wire and Loop

(in English) We conduct the design and analysis of a directive antenna composed of a wire and a loop for wireless power transmission (WPT) technology. As part of improving the characteristics of antennas for WPT, we calculate a compact electromagnetic resonance antenna (EMRA) on a single substrate in order to improve its gain. In this study, we aim to achieve unidirectional pattern in the antenna by composition of a parasitic split ring and feeding a half-wavelength dipole. We investigated the effects on the antenna characteristics by varying the gap $Delta h$ between the wire and loop. We also performed numerical analysis on both linear dipole shapes and a miniaturized L-shaped design, and obtained impedance characteristics and radiation patterns. Based on the analysis results, we conducted a prototype experiment on the EMRA designed for the 1 GHz band, and compared the results in simulation and mesurement.
