(in English) In critical infrastructures such as electric power and railroads, communication networks are indispensable for various systems such as facility operation, safety assurance, and maintenance. Since availability is important for infrastructure facilities, highly reliable communications that can be used even in the event of accidents or disasters are required. In addition, systems for equipment protection in case of electrical accidents require low latency. Furthermore, since the communication area is wide, it is essential to construct low-cost facilities. In this paper, we introduce a concept of a communication network that utilizes terahertz-band wideband wireless and all-photonics networks, utilizing existing private communication infrastructure, for the efficient construction of a highly reliable and broadband wide-area communication network for power grid, assuming the year 2040, and integrate information network for train operation.
