Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) IoT wireless communication devices are expected to be placed in very high densities, and it is important to realize a communication scheme that reduces interference. It is difficult to manage the communication timing of a huge number of wireless devices by centralized control. Therefore, autonomous decentralized time-division multiple access (TDMA) has been considered in previous research. In our previous study, we proposed an autonomous decentralized TDMA suitable for large-scale IoT networks by focusing on the antiphase phase synchronization phenomenon of nonlinear oscillators with intermittent and inhibitory coupling. We have also successfully demonstrated our proposed method using actual IoT devices. In this study, we propose a method to improve the performance of desynchronization by changing the coupling function of nonlinear oscillators. Computer simulations show that the convergence time to desynchronization is reduced by using a coupling function with a higher update when the phase difference is small than the sinusoidal function used in the Kuramoto model and other models.
