Common-Mode Noise Reduction of Bridgeless Flyback PFC Rectifier with Balance Technique

(in English) This paper proposes a novel balanced bridgeless flyback power factor correction (PFC) rectifier to reduce common-mode noise. A high-frequency equivalent circuit with parasitic winding capacitors is presented and compared with that of conventional bridgeless flyback rectifier. Parasitic capacitors from a printed circuit board and a transformer are analyzed to achieve the desired balance conditions. A 115 VAC-48 V, 72-W bridgeless flyback rectifier was prototyped and utilized to verify a reduction in common-mode noise. The experimental results demonstrate the proposed flyback rectifier attenuates CM noise across the entire frequency range by a maximum of 35 dBμV.
